“ ただ、真面目に大学に通い、単位もきちんと取れていることから、両親や、担当教員、そして本人も問題点に気づいていなかったのである。問題点とはすなわち、圧倒的な社会経験の不足の中で、人と関わることが苦手であるという欠点が矯正されたわけではないことである。就職活動、職場生活を送るに必要な社会的スキル等のレディネスが全く形成されておらず、その後の生活に適応できないということである。大学時代の彼は社会に参加しているようで参加していなかった。一応、家の外には出て行くものの、誰とも深い関わりを持つことはなくただ自分の世界の中で生きていただけである。病気かというとそうとまでは言えず、また表面上は今の環境に適応しているかのように見え、大学生活の後半頃になってから問題が暴露されるという点で実に厄介である。
